MEMORANDUM
Subject: COVID-19 (Novel Coronavirus)
Parents, Staff and supporters of Inspiring Scholars Academy. As mentioned previously, we are keenly aware of developments concerning the pandemic outbreak of COVID-19 Coronavirus. As we prepare and are excited to re-open we want you to know that we are taking seriously the safety of our staff, you and your children. In preparation for re-opening, we are confident that we can provide services within the CDC and Bright From The Start guidelines.
Our Measures
– All employees, parents, staff, contractor workers etc. will temperature will be checked prior to allowing to enter the building
– Everyone must wash hands regularly
– Cover sneezes
Do Not Enter (you or child) – stay home and keep children home when experiencing symptoms of illness (employees follow work protocols)
– Persistent dry coughs
– Shortness of Breath
We also recommend that you join us in following preventive measures outlined by the Center for Disease Control. (CDC) Symptoms of COVID-19 may resemble the common cold or seasonal flu, which is a far greater risk this time of year. It is important to remember that viruses cannot target people from specific populations, ethnicity or racial backgrounds and this type of stigma should be avoided.
The best way to prevent infection with any respiratory virus is to use the same preventative strategies used during a normal cold and flu season:
In order to support you and keep our doors open we need your help administering the previously recommended practices.
In the event we are directed to close by our governing body we will use Class DoJo to communicate our closure. Class DoJo will also be used to inform you if there are changes in our schedules.
